From the 25th to the 31st of July, Lille will become the European Women Junior capital.

Eight teams will indeed compete in the EuroHockey Junior Nations Championship, Women which is the most important competition in the world  for the U21 after the Junior World Cup. Belarus, England, France, Germany, Lithuania, Netherlands, Scotland and Spain will play during 5 days with the objective of winning the European Junior title.

The final was unexpected as everybody was expecting Germany vs Netherlands. Finally, the English got their ticket to the final by beating the Germans in semi-final. The Dutch, World Champions, are the favourite but they have to be cautious as the English hope to upset the hierarchy.

The "Oranje" don't wait to put pressure on the English. As soon as the 6th minute, they open the score on PC by the n°12 Maasakker.
The Dutch are really in top conditions, they rush to the attack.

Spain

Bronze for Spain

Spain vs Germany: 2-1 (0-0) after extra time - golden goal.

Match for the bronze between Spain and Germany. The beginning of the game is balanced but neither the German nor Spanish does materialize their respective first corners. The first twenty minutes, however, show a German domination.

Belarus vs Lithuania : 1-0 (0-0)

Lithuania-Belarus is a decisive game as it will determine which teams will remain in the elite of Europe.

At the beginning of the game, both teams don't show their game. The game is very closed and dangerous occasions are almost nonexistent.

Scotland vs France : 3-0 (1-0)

This is the last game of the EuroHockey Junior Nationship for France and Scotland. In case of the win of France, the French would be insured to keep their place in the european elite and thus achieve their goal.
The beginning of the game is balanced between the two teams. There attacks defenses succeed but none team manages to take the lead.
